EMW 2008 Fall REGISTRATION INFORMATION


"Who Can Play?"


EMW Soccer is open to all boys and girls born between 12/1/1989 and 11/30/03.
NON-Residents are welcome to play for NO additional fee.
**** Birth Certificate is required for all FIRST TIME registrants for proof of age.****

"Registration Info"


If your child played last year and you have supplied us with a valid email address, you will be emailed a registration form in late April.

We ask that you mail your registration forms and payment back to us by May 5, 2008.

NEW PLAYERS to EMW


ุ PARENTS: If you plan to register in PERSON, refer to dates and location noted below.
ุ Your child DOES NOT need to attend registration.
ุ Be sure to bring a copy of your child's Birth Certificate. This is required for all FIRST TIME registrants for proof of age.


"Final Registration Dates"


Monday, August 18th

From 6:30pm to 8:00pm EMW Fields – 7100 Seneca Street, Elma (just outside Sahlen’s Sports Park)

Saturday, September 6th

From 10:00am to Noon at the EMW Fields - 7100 Seneca Street, Elma (at the outdoor concession stand)

Please make note of these registration dates and make every effort to attend. Because registration is after May 19, 2008 they will be accepted on a space availability basis only and will be subject to higher registraion fees.


"Age Divisions"


EMW Soccer teams are set up by age and are also coed. Below is the breakdown of divisions by birth date.

Kinderpints .U6.... 12/1/02 – 11/30/03
Half Pints.....U8.... 12/1/00 – 11/30/02
Pints .........U10.... 12/1/98 – 11/30/00
Quarts ......U12.... 12/1/96 – 11/30/98
Gallons.......U14... 12/1/94 – 11/30/96
Kegs...........U18... 12/1/89 – 11/30/94

"How Much Does It Cost!"

* Registrations after May 19, 2008 are considered late and will be accepted only if space is available in a division; therefore, early registration is encouraged. After May 19 late fees are included in registration fee. No additional fees for non-residents



"Additional Notes!"


  • Half Pints(U8) through Kegs(U18) games will be played every Saturday for 8 weeks
    starting September 6 through October 25. Practices are scheduled by the coach and 
    subject to his/her availability

  • Half Pints(U8)through Quarts((U12) also practice once a week for 4 weeks at Sahlens 
    Sports Park in September.
    • 

  • Kinderpints(U6) have a 6 week session starting September 6 through October 11. They 
    play only on Saturday.
    • 

  • Birth Certificate is required for all first time registrants for proof of age.
    Your child cannot be placed on a team without birth certificate as proof of age.
    •  

  • Children need not attend the registration.
    • 

  • Please know your family doctor / pediatrician and their office phone number for
    our emergency information.
    • 

  • Registrations after May 19, 2008 are considered late and are only accepted if space
   is available in that division. Late fees are included in registration cost if
   you register after May 19.
    • 

  • Preference will be given to Elma, Marilla and Wales residents in cases of nearly full
   divisions provided they have registered by May 19th, 2008. 

  • Each player receives a team T-shirt or jersey.
    • 

  • Shin pads are required and available for $5.00 from EMW.
    • 

  • Soccer cleats are recommended for pints and up but are not required.
    •



    "Refund Policy"


    100% Refund if you notify registrar on/before July 15,2008
    50% Refund from July 16th to July 31st
    NO Refund August 1st or after
